Twist Tie Platinum Bands

This wonderful bridal couple sought us out to help create a truly unique wedding set.  Due to the groom’s father’s grave health, they were quickly married in front of his hospital bed using twist ties as stand-ins for wedding rings, the only item available at the nurse’s station. They wanted to retain the likeness of the twist ties for their actual wedding bands, so we set out to create molds of the twist ties, and our master platinumsmiths handcrafted a similar texture of paper against the skin.  A precious memento with an even more personal story.
